Mimbres Fish Picture Bowl
This Bowl came from the Mimbres area of New Mexico. It is unusual in that it was used and has ancient repair holes. Most picture bowls made by the mimbres was for use in funerals. You can see the wear in the bottom of this bowl.
At the time these photos were taken there was no restoration present. It is being restored at this time (no paint added only some minor holes repaired)
This bowl dates to between 1100 & 1400 AD and was legally purchased from a private collection.
